Yesterday I had a wonderful Mother's Day. It was our first Mother's Day without my grandmother and yes, it was hard, especially on my mom. But we got through it and my sister and I made it as special as possible for my mom: gave her lots of gifts and took her out to dinner.

Great to see you doing a lot for your Mom. Where did you take her to eat? I like to keep logs of restaurants, especially of one says it's special. Nice to read this.
We took her to Tasty Garden chinese restaurant in Monterey Park. Very good food there.
